Tasting Notes
Displays a captivating and deeply complex bouquet of crème de cassis, blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark cherry, layered with the estate's signature aromas of cedar, graphite, cigar box, pencil shavings, and crushed stone. With aeration, additional nuances of violets, tobacco leaf, truffle, exotic spices, and fine earth emerge, revealing extraordinary depth and sophistication.
Pairings
Pairs beautifully with refined dishes that complement its elegance and complexity, such as herb-crusted rack of lamb, dry-aged ribeye, roasted venison, duck breast, or Beef Wellington. The wine's layers of cassis, cedar, graphite, tobacco, and subtle truffle nuances harmonize particularly well with roasted meats, wild mushrooms, and truffle-infused preparations, while its fine tannins and remarkable freshness provide balance and lift.
Decant
2–3 hours of decanting is recommended to allow the aromas of cassis, cedar, graphite, violets, and cigar box to fully unfold while softening the tannic structure. Serve at 16–18°C.
