Tasting Notes
Opens with an expressive bouquet of ripe blackcurrant, cassis, blackberry, cedar, graphite, cigar box, violets, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is refined and beautifully balanced, combining concentrated dark fruit with notes of dark chocolate, espresso, tobacco, and crushed stone. Fine-grained, velvety tannins and vibrant freshness give the wine remarkable precision and elegance, leading to a long, complex finish marked by mineral depth and classic Pauillac character.
Pairings
Pairs exceptionally well with premium red meats and refined French cuisine. It is an outstanding match for dry-aged ribeye, Wagyu beef, roasted rack of lamb, venison loin, and beef Wellington. Rich game dishes such as duck breast or pigeon also complement its depth and aromatic complexity. For cheese, mature Comté, aged Gouda, or well-aged hard cheeses enhance the wine's layered flavors without overpowering its elegance.
