Tasting Notes

Opens with expressive aromas of orchard fruits, orange rind, red berries, white flowers, marzipan, warm spices, and subtle toasted notes. The palate is layered, concentrated, and deeply textured, combining ripe fruit, chalky minerality, delicate salinity, and a silky mousse. Powerful yet remarkably precise, it finishes with exceptional length, freshness, and complexity, reflecting the distinctive character of old-vine Pinot Meunier and the singular terroir of Les Béguines.

Pairings

Pairs beautifully with oysters, scallops, roasted poultry, lobster, aged Comté, Iberico ham, and refined seafood dishes. Its vinous texture and depth also allow it to accompany richer dishes that many Champagnes would struggle to match, making it equally compelling as an aperitif or throughout an entire meal.

Decant

Decanting is not essential, allowing the wine to breathe for 15–30 minutes or serving it in a large Burgundy glass can significantly enhance its aromatic complexity and texture.

Drinking Window

2024–2040+. Already captivating today, LC20 possesses the concentration, structure, and balance to evolve beautifully over the next 15–20 years, gaining additional complexity while retaining its remarkable energy and mineral precision.
