Tasting Notes
Offering captivating aromas of violet, cherry blossom, blackberry, bramble berry, and subtle sweet spice. The palate is taut and precise, combining crystalline fruit purity with silky, polished tannins and a distinctive mineral backbone. Concentrated yet weightless, it gains depth and complexity in the glass, finishing long, pure, and beautifully balanced with none of the rusticity traditionally associated with Pommard.
Pairings
Pairs beautifully with roasted duck, pigeon, quail, and herb-crusted lamb, where its purity of fruit and refined structure can shine. It also complements mushroom-based dishes, truffle risotto, roasted pork, beef tenderloin, and aged cheeses such as Comté and Gruyère. Its elegance and freshness make it particularly suited to refined French and Japanese cuisine.
