Showcases the grandeur of Melanson Vineyard with exceptional balance between mountain-grown power and refined elegance. Dense layers of cassis, blackberry, graphite, tobacco leaf, and crushed rock are framed by silky yet commanding tannins, leading to a remarkably long and structured finish. While already impressive with decanting, this is a Cabernet built for long-term cellaring, with the depth and complexity to evolve beautifully over the next two decades.
Pairings
Pairs beautifully with premium cuts of beef such as dry-aged ribeye, wagyu, and beef Wellington, as well as herb-crusted lamb and braised short ribs. Its rich dark fruit, graphite, and tobacco notes also complement truffle dishes, wild mushrooms, and aged cheeses, while Asian favourites such as roast duck, black pepper beef, and Korean galbi make excellent matches.
Decant
2 to 4 hours. Serve at 16–18°C for the best expression.
