The wine is born from Block 4A (Cuartel 4A), a special corner of the Batuco Vineyard that has, year after year, provided the very best Carménère grapes of all. Some believe the shade from the late afternoon sun that distinguishes this block. Other say it is the extra amount of sands found in this sector. Nobody knows for sure. But what we are sure about is that this block gives the best Carménère of all.
