Tasting Notes

Opens with lifted aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, crushed violets, and subtle forest floor, followed by layers of spice, mineral, and earthy nuance. The palate is powerful yet composed, with firm, elegant tannins and vibrant acidity driving a long, precise finish.

Pairings

Roasted duck breast with a cherry glaze, dry-aged lamb chops with rosemary, or wild mushroom risotto. Earthy flavors and umami-rich dishes highlight the wine’s complexity, while refined proteins let its structure and nuance shine.

Decant

For 2–3 hours if drinking now to allow the youthful structure and layered bouquet to open up.

Drinking Window

2026–2045. The wine is approachable with extended decanting now, but it will continue to gain complexity and harmony with further aging. Optimal maturity is expected from 2030 onward, offering peak expression of fruit, structure, and tertiary nuances.
